About Jane

Jane Unsworth
Jane Unsworth works with clients on disease, relationships and weight as an Integrated Health Practitioner, Trainer and Weight Coach.

For almost a decade from the early 1980′s she worked as a Youth Trainer with school-leavers, teaching catering and getting some great kids out onto work placements while running an in-house canteen for the other half of the group.

She took some City and Guild’s Professional Catering Courses and loved every moment. Following that Jane went on to take a 3-yr degree in BSc (Hons) Home Economics which covered Nutrition & Dietetics, Recipe & Product Development, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

Erratic Eating Habits

For the longest time she wasn’t really that overweight but was aware that her eating patterns were questionable. Her love of food wove in and out of her life and becoming particularly noticeable when she stopped smoking (for the first time) in her late twenties when the pounds piled on.

The strain became too great and she started smoking again, and then started dieting to address the weight gain, and that was when alcohol stepped into the frame, nothing heavy but some indicators were emerging.

Does It Have To Be Difficult?

It was an innate curiosity alongside searching for answers to questions that lead Jane into the world of personal development where she has been a Health Practitioner since 2004 drawing from a wide-range of the latest and best tools to both analyse and clear the issues and aspects that often need to be addressed before deep and lasting change can take place.

The focus of weight, on this site, is how she subsequently noticed (through her own and client experiences) just how much relationships and disease intertwine and by working with others and herself Jane has developed an innate ability to help in the unravelling of what can feel like a downward-spiral for some of us at times.

Celebrating With Food

About JaneCelebrating with Food

Food sustains us whether it’s marking a special event, enjoying good conversation, sharing it over a glass of vino, brokering a deal, or in simple day-to-day living.

However, the quality, the amount we eat, the relationship we have with it, is really up to us.

This site is about sharing Jane’s experiences, so that maybe you don’t have to wait until you are as old as she :) in order to find your own solutions to similar issues.

Over time she has uncovered some phenomenal ways to make a difference for yourself, address your questions and overcome your own challenges, and loves sharing information with others.
